These Terms explain how you may use the FamilyMeds mobile app, website, and our supporting resources. By accessing or using any part of the service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. What FamilyMeds Provides

FamilyMeds is a medication tracking and reminder system for iOS designed to help individuals and families manage medication schedules. We provide tools for setting reminders, tracking medication history, refills, to make sure you never miss a dose. The app does not provide any medical advice.

2. Apple Standard Terms of Use

If you download the FamilyMeds App from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard Terms of Use apply. If these Terms ever conflict with Apple's Standard Terms of Use, Apple's terms take precedence and control for the App Store version of the app.

3. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the FamilyMeds app and access our website for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not sublicense, rent, lease, or transfer the app or website to any third party.

License Restrictions

  • Do not modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app except where permitted by law.
  • Do not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the app or website.
  • Do not use the app for commercial purposes or public display without our written consent.
  • Do not remove or alter proprietary notices or labels contained in the service.
  • Do not access or use the service in a way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
  • Do not use automated or unauthorized methods to interfere with the service.

4. Eligibility

The app is intended for individuals who are capable of managing their own medication schedules and the medication schedules of their dependants, for example their children or others they may care for. By using the service you confirm that you can form a binding agreement with us and that you will comply with these Terms.

5. Account Registration

No dedicated "FamilyMeds" account is required to use the app or website. Certain features of the iOS app may prompt you to sign in with Apple to sync preferences securely through iCloud.

6. Sync and Data Sharing

The app performs its medication tracking and reminder logic entirely on your device. Medication schedules, history, and preferences are stored privately in your personal iCloud account.

7. Privacy

Privacy is key. FamilyMeds does not host any data. All data is private to you and your own iCloud account. No data is shared with us for any reason, nor are any analytics performed.

8. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect product changes or legal requirements. When we do, we will post the revised Terms within the app and on this website. Your continued use of FamilyMeds after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Australia.
